>Clipse – Still Pushin’

The rap duo Clipse, composed of brothers Pusha T and Malice, have been making bangers since 2002’s Grindin’ first played on your radio. Our high school football team would drop that beat in warm up drills before games, badass. Their first two major label releases Lord Willin’ and Hell Hath no Fury are two of the best rap albums I own, and thats saying a lot. Their lyrical talent combined with the skill of producer Pharell makes a damn good group. Spanning every style of hip-hop, the Neptunes (Pharell and Chad Hugo) demonstrate their virtuosity in soul, rock and electronic music.

This March ‘Till the Casket Drops is set to release on Rick Rubin’s Columbia records. Pharell is the executive producer and the Neptunes will be making most of the beats, fucking happy to hear. There will also be tracks by Swizz Beatz and The Hitmen. I am really looking forward to this release and can only hope its as good as the last two.

Until March here is a mixtape they released called Road ‘Till the Casket Drops.
